As we start flexing our trust harmonies, of course there will be challenges to overcome and lessons to be learned. As we reconnect with our inner selves, we change. We grow. We start wanting different things. This may seem odd, foreign, and uncomfortable in our relationships and in the spaces we have traveled. That’s okay.
Often our egos will kick in, trying to save us from the unknown or known hurts, from the unknown future and fear of what that means, and from feeling our feelings so that we can move through them and be released from the old, comfortable music tracks we have been listening to.
Do not abandon your trust in yourself and your soul songs as you move through this process. Allow all lyrics to be heard, and as gently as you can, replace the old track with your new song and invite your ego to the dance party. Show your ego that trusting this new track means more fun, more integration, more openness and connection, and more self love…and that in loving yourself you are not excluding your ego, but inviting it to the party. @krystamaravilla
