Patience was never my virtue, never a strength, and rarely did I flex it’s muscle to see how long I could hold out… my discomfort was to much. I found myself reaching for distractions. Any distractions, whether they were thoughts running in my mind or those in my physical reality.

I found that developing patience was interwoven with developing a belief that all was going to be okay. My distress over what could happen, reaching towards fear and discomfort, shifted to; what could happen? Feeling excitement with the endless possibilities of outcomes that are for my benefit some how. In ways my mind can’t even contemplate…
