We always have a narrative running in our heads; the story of our lives. All of us have had challenging experiences, disaster points in the story arc of our life. How have we recovered from those chapters in our lives? Often, the heaviness of those moments stay with us; consciously or unconsciously in our minds, in our bodies… influencing our current story.

What if you re-wrote your story? I don’t mean deleting or creating false narratives, no. Embrace all of yourselves. I mean look at your story and focus on all your strengths while being compassionate to yourself. Look at how you have grown, how resilient you were in the face of all your struggles, and release the aspects of your old story that no longer fits who you are.

Accepting that there is nothing that needs to be fixed with yourself is embracing a new story. A story that only you can re-write as often as you need to until you have found all your power, your strengths, beauty in your imperfections, and your magic.
