The melodies of life swirl around us, distracting us one moment from the next; shifting us from thought, lyric, beat. Distracting us from our own souls songs as we enjoy trying on other rhythms, other tunes, others lyrics to see how they fit.
It is easy to not see, to not make the correlation, that your lyrics are creating your moment to moment experience and your future. With each pulse we dance too, that pulse is projecting out into the world around us. It is only tuning into the same frequency, like a radio, that you are giving off.
If your lyrics sing to the possibilities, open and curious minds, the world will provide you with this. If your lyrics sing to self-doubt, fear, comparison, the world will provide you with this. If you sing about safety and connection in abundance, or if you sing of discord, judgment and lack of, those are what your futures will be filled with.
