With everything that is going on I find myself turning back to memories that have brought me joy and so much love, memories I cherish. When I was between the ages of 5 and 7, my family lived in town called Cullera, Spain. We lived in a small apartment, 4th floor walk up, over looking the fisherman’s market and river.
My father would put on Vivaldi and all of us, four children and two adults, would dance around the dinning room table… because that was the only way we could really move about (our place was tiny, quaint, and perfect). I remember laughter, joy, feeling connected, and so much love… it radiated through us. Filled the room. Filled my heart.
Whenever I hear The Four Season, my heart jumps with joy, skipping a beat and bringing this open, vulnerable, but oh so beautiful feeling of love. I will always associate Vivaldi with unconditional love flowing through all of us in the room. Pure love.
If you have a moment, listen to it, to the seasons of life we cycle through… and see sensations in your body, mind, soul arise with it.
