Everything has a vibration; wishes and hopes, dreams and fears, love and sadness. All of these emotions, and more, interweave into the fabric of our lives, our physical bodies, our soul songs.
It’s a sneaky thing, wishes, as it subtly compares our true songs and realities to others; often leaving us without and wanting. Wishes can become a powerless song we sing to ourselves, as we focus on seeing the lack and flaws, the barrier to the possibilities.
Hope is true to our inner songs. Hope is a vibration that sprinkles sparks within our darkness. Hope, clear eyed and focused, sees each small step taken as progress, especially when those steps provided learning lessons and growth. Hope is a song that focuses on our abilities, are strengths, our passions, our hearts true desires and it feeds them. Hope gives us the inner songs needed to champion us through, to sooth us, to keep us calm, and to light us on fire…
Hope seeks connection in its expansion; not just to sing its harmony to an empty stage but to a stadium of people. Hope makes its own magic.
There will always be an interwoven quality, to wish, to hope; providing shifting rhythms and beats in the symphonies our soul songs. No need to judge, no need to hold onto certain parts of the song. Just observe and listen; hear the beauty in all that you are, whatever season that you’re in. As with all season, they will pass, like magic in the wind…
Have you had wishes that left you feeling wanting or frustrated? Have you had hopes (other than the inevitable re-opening and back to life) come up that has shifted your focus? Please share in the comments, would love to hear and support you.
